If you’ve never been there, or would like a refresher, here’s what it looks like. I’m not the best photographer, but it gets better after the first minute.

My daughter came upon this website and told me I would enjoy it. I did enjoy it because I was born in Sant Andrea.
My parents ,sisters , brother and I came to the US and we first lived in Brooklyn on Grand Avenue around the corner from St. Marks Avenue.
I remember when Nino and his wife came to live in Brooklyn. Also when Nino got his first car , I was a teenager and it was an experience driving with him through the streets .
I took a trip back to Sant Andrea in the summer of 2005 with my wife and daughter. We went to visit Nino , his wife and Frine ( dog). They have a beautiful home with a nice view of the hills. I heard that their dog Frine died , they were both attached to the dog and they will miss it.
You have done a nice job putting this site together so we can look at our past . We must keep our heritage alive , I hope we can ?
Sincerely ,
Frank Nestico
